You do not need a TLD, as you will be assigned a subdomain when you make your account.

My current subdomain is "namehere.pcriot.com", which is quite short for me. However, you CAN assign a TLD when / if you get one with CPanel.

CPanel is a control panel that runs your site's configuration, it doesn't sell domains - but instead it sets up the domain that you buy.

A good place for TLDs is www.register.com , I've worked with them before.

well, what about ezyfree.com? Since i can't afford to buy TLDs, u know where i can get free ones? I had a website on freewebs.com so i hated how every1 could tell that mine was free. Mine was freewebs.com/bunnycakes. (DON"T ASK )

assuming ezyfree.com provides subdomains you should be able to use that, as a parked or addon domain.

the subdomains you can get from x10 are nice, as mentioned there's pcriot.com and also you can get exofire.net, x10hosting.com and elementFX.com (if you think one of these subdomains will do, that will be the easiest to use)

There's to my knowledge no free TLDs, but I know a few free subdomain services if you want more to chose from:

http://www.changeip.com/

All of them do require you to login to the account you sign up for there once in a while to keep the subdomain. I think they all send a mail when you're closing in to expiration.

Right...x10 has nice domain names and it's not a dead giveaway that your site is free. I use pcriot as well...sounds cool.

try freedns.afraid.org -- they have some cool names too.
