Is it possible to create your own 404 page to be used instead of the default? I know that it can be done, but does x10 allow it?

They allow custom .htaccess files

Yes, but there is no .htaccess in the file manager, and when I go to create one, it says that it already exists. Please help?

The file manager by default hides those dot files...
Maybe you should upload an .htaccess file rather than creating it in filemanager
When uploading...check overwrite existing files option
