Talking Counter-Strike Server on Premium

Eventually I am planning on upgrading to premium, I want to get a domain and various other premium perks. I was wondering if I would have the ability to add a Counter-Strike 1.6 server on my account if I purchased premium. I read another thread about a private runescape server and you said that if they provide the tools, it's ok. Does the same go for FPS servers, or is it just MMO servers. I'd imagine a World of Warcraft 32 player server would take less resources than a 32 player Counter-Strike server. Please help!

Thanks as well!

Re: Counter-Strike Server on Premium

With our VPS services it's possible. Not with the world of warcraft server though, since ones not owned by Blizzard are illegal.

For more information on our VPS's see https://clients.x10hosting.com/order.php?gid=6!

The first link are shared hosting accounts. You can't run game servers on them.
The second are virtual servers which you can run game servers on.

Sorry to butt in but it's on the same subject.

What package would you recommend choosing for a 40-man Counter Strike Source server?

Cheers

Re: Counter-Strike Server on Premium

You would need a lot of bandwith. Also I don't think there is 40 users the most i've seen is 32

Cashcrate is real so far by doing random offers I have made $28.75 and more. You can do a daily offer each day for $0.80 cents. There is about 3 surveys so you make about $2.05

It would take not only a lot of bandwidth, but probably a good chunk of RAM for a CS:Source server to run, so I would say probably one of the higher-end packages would be better for something like this.

Imagine the lag...

Re: Counter-Strike Server on Premium

I would agree, a higher end package would suit you better for a large CS:S server.
