"How does the point system work?"
I don't even know how it works. Like 'donating' points, do you donate your own points or when you donate points it gives them more points. Or how much points do you get for posting, creating threads, helping out, etc.


"Can I put google ads on my site?"
Just throwing it out there, I know you have to ask the administrators and such, but there's another question just to throw it in there.

I read this question a lot in the forums, especially from newcomers. Some people think that their account/site is suspended when in reality, the server is down.

When the server is down, always check the Sever Alerts board for info.

This may be caused because you have a firewall, and the right connections can't get through so it is blocked. I suggest you get cPanel Proxy, which will override your firewall for the login screen. You should use the auto-installer.

Yes! You can do so by either paying with points or with cash. Prices differ with plans.



Do I get on a different server if I pay?

Yes, if you pay to remove ads you may request to be put on the business server.

Updating on Fez's how the points system works, some parts confirmed by Auvee.

"How does the point system work?"
You get points for doing specific things on the x10-Hosting site and forums. The main ways to earn points are through contests (Check the Promo board for more details), or by posting. You get 1 point for posting a reply, and 2 points for posting a new topic. More ways to earn points are being added, so stay tuned!

How does the shop work?
The Shop, featured in a link handy at the top of each page in the forums, sells features for your site or the boards, in exchange for points. These items include a custom title on the forums, a domain for your website (for one year), a ticket to the trivia contest, or adless hosting for 6 months! There are only a certain amount of each shop item, so buy them while you can!

I think that on the main page of the site you should have a nice and simple walkthrough on how hosting works here. I thought that I had to post like 50 times before I could get hosting. etc.
