Don't anyone here think the credits are underpriced?
I check out the marketplace recently and I'm seeing logos wanted for 150 credits! And websites for 6000 credits! I really think this is way too less conseriding what that amount of credits is worth here on x10hosting. You need like 23k credits just for $25. I've been charging to do website templates for around $500 per from the companies and people I worked for out there. If I did a template here, I would get ripped off and yet again, I don't know the quality of the work that you get here. I've been doing templates for 4 years now and I specialize in it, so I guess $500 per isn't overpriced for me, but I know that real website companies will even charge in the thousands for a single custom website template.
For those who really have been in the real world, what do think about the prices here? (I don't argue it, I can really take advantage of the cheap labor here.)

Re: Don't anyone here think the credits are underpriced?
Actually the credits are not underpriced. You get an average of 3 credits per post so for someone to start an offer like "Logo creation for 10000 credits" wouldn't be right because not many people have all those credits because you can only gain credits by...
* Posting
* Completing people's offers (Don't expect the offers to be huge because the person asking will not have tens of thousands of credits. Only Corey (Primary Admin) has that many credits)
* Receiving Rep
Anyway, if the credits were increased for everything, x10 would lose money because there would be so many people asking for domains, paypal payouts etc. which all cost money. To get a free domain just by posting is pretty darn awesome.
For example, look at me. I have about 535 posts and have completed offers, spent about 1000 of my credits and have 4350 credits. That is a lot of posts and offers completed so you see how much work it would be to get at least at a 10 dollar equivalency?

These credits areent really supposed to buy superb design. Just try and lower the quality and sell it for less.

Well you're supposed to receive 3 credits per post plus multiplier, i only seem to get 1 credit per post plus multiplier... Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me then?

It is maybe because we are using an updated version of the cash system or something(now it PMs when you recive credits).
It is so "underpayed" because:
* Not everyone have 100000000000 Credits (maybe all users together)
* The marketplace is most for fun and need, how fun would it be to post 2000 posts to get a simple logo?

Those are reasonable prices considering the amount of credits you get for posts. I feel that the amount of credits per post should be increased though.

Re: Don't anyone here think the credits are underpriced?
The credit are a sort of currency on x10 forums which has a greater value than the dollar equivalent. 500 credits for a logo is more than enough because the credits are a symbol for their hard work.

Re: Don't anyone here think the credits are underpriced?
It is really just an extra benefit for helping someone on the forums. When I help someone I don't make them pay me credits. I am currently doing web development for wiil3gend and I am only going to get 250 if I do a good job, and yes, I set that price.
BTW Corey owns X10 so...
