Idea for prizes
Corey suggested I put this in this forum so here we go.
Recently there was a poll about what prizes you would like. There were just the same old things in there which, yeah it's great if you don't have a domain name etc, but what if you are happy with what you have. A big prize... well depending on what it is worth prizes may be far apart to only one person.
My suggestion simple. As an additional prize or another option for what you can exchange credits for, knowing that everyone on x10hosting have small sites and are desperately looking for new visitors, why not have a credit exchange for some of the commercial offers made by x10hosting? For example there is a package where you can get vip support etc which is like $10 a year, others where you can buy impressions on banner or text ads that x10 send to other sites and the banner in the forum. Or maybe even the basic commercial hosting package.
Why not simply make those available for credit exchange and prizes, those are things already implemented by x10 so that would mean there's no extra postage and handling, buying the product etc...
Any thoughts?
