Basically you can use points to buy stuff listed in x10 Rewards. At the moment you can get a domain registered to you for a year, a Google-hosted @x10email.com email account, early unsuspension and PayPal payouts. To earn points, you just have to post and be active; you'll also get points when someone positive-reps you, or donates to you. There's also a forum for points offers, where you can either complete offers listed there for points or make your own offer to other users.

So, just post around and have fun, and you'll have 9k in no time

The correct term is "credits".

You can gain around 3 credits for each post made, 30 credits for each referral and i'm not sure about the other ways, you can check them in one of the HOW TO threads but i know that one of the best ways to make credits is to complete clients' offers and gain credits by doing tasks they set you. I able currently completing a web design template for someone and if the person likes it, then i will get 6,500 credits. You can do a lot with credits though the only thing i'm interested in is a domain name which would be available for 9,000 credits. I may not have that much at the moment but i'm getting there.
