Re: aeronautical engineering ?
Both these fields are diverse. and has got wide scope.
An aero engg. can be a pilot, designer, ground engineer etc,
A computer engg can be a software developer, support personal, consultant, tester etc..
i would suggest you to take a course which you like the most, with whos help you can become what you aspirred to become in future.

i wanna be rich.. ^^ some people say that comEng is extremely hard... and aeroEng is extremely expensive.
i can learn programming and computer stuff on my own... sometimes i choose aeroeng coz i love all things about aviation.. ^^
but which one is more "practical"? ^^im a computer person but i may not handle the future with comeng since there is no board exam for it yet (here in the Philippines). ^^
thanks

Re: aeronautical engineering ?
Do one as a major and one as a minor. Or double major. Its your choice. No one can tell you what you like more.

Re: aeronautical engineering ?
Hello anirtak143, it depends upon your interest and aptitude. Both computer engg and aeronautical engg are promising carriers. If you love adventurous i would suggest you to go for aeronautical. Also please keep in mind that the course fee for aeronautical engg will be more than that of computer engg.
Alternately you can also go for Dual B-tech degree( Computer engg and Aeronautical combined).

Re: aeronautical engineering ?
anirtak, if you plan to immigrate to the US, computer eng. is better than aeronautical, because over here, the demand for technology is higher than aviation. But I say go with what you like to do, not what pays more.
