Dear Members,

I have one question to be answered. I know that to get PHP configuration-Advanced, one has to provide an extremely good reason. My Question is that when is an Advanced Configuration needed?

You may say that in that request page itself it would be provided. But to install vbulletin you need PHP Intermdiate Config. Similarly when is an Advanced Config needed?

When you are using blacklisted functions such as exec().

These functions are not normally needed for scripts/cms's/portals.

They are normally custom coded scripts for the users own usage.
