I have no web pages (I do have according to cPanel) and I can only access cPanel though stoli.x10hosting.com, not though my subdomain + no ftp access also addon domain 'cannot find server'

Worked for about an hour, after re-uploading some files via FTP, I now have the same problem

What FTP client are you using?
Some FTP clients have the "Multiple connections" option enabled. This will open lots of connections, and will make the server FireWall temporary block your IP Address.
Make sure you've this option totally disabled in your FTP client settings.
