Could someone run me though on how to set up a free DynDNS subdomian as my primary domain?

Set the A record on the domain to 67.228.161.42

And then I wait up to 48 hours for it to work, correct?

A records are typically instant.

I mean for it to display the website instead of "Great Success ! Apache is working on your cPanel® and WHM™ Server"

If you've the option to point it by nameservers (ns), that would be the best way. If you're able to do this, point it to: ns1.x10hosting.com & ns2.x10hosting.com
If you are not able to set ns, but are allowed to set A records, you need to point them to: 67.228.162.200. This is the Shared IP Address that your account uses (it's one of Lotus IP Addresses).
