United States Best and Worst President?

What in you opinion is the United States best and worst president? Why?

I believe, as is common that Bush was our worst president. I am not looking at superficial matters like Clinton cheating or Nixon stealing because those did not cause harm to the extent that Bush did in record time. Nixon at least had the decency to resign while the whole world wants Bush gone and he still goes on camera with that smug expression!

I think the best president is Bill Clinton because he left the country in the best shape after he left. All personall matters don't concern us. My top three are:

1) Bill Clinton
2) Ronald Regan
3) Franklin Roosevelt

Worst president: Warren Harding. That oaf was probably the world's best bribe-acceptor. He played poker and golf on a daily basis while the "Ohio Gang" took advantage of their roles in government. This guy did NOTHING.

Bush made a good governor for Texas, and I had hopes for him in his first bid for presidency when he was still speaking eloquently.. however as he went on in his presidency, things became gradually worse and worse.

Now for best president, I say Nixon. He knew what it took to win, and opened diplomatic relations with China (huge implications). It's too bad he lost to Kennedy in his first bid for presidency.

His foreign relations, to me at least, don't make up for his huge indiscretions throughout his presidency. Watergate alone was such a huge punch to the face to this day has made him infamous.

But really, that's nothing compared to the stuff that George W. Bush has gotten away with. I mean the guy went to war with another country with zero evidence of weapons of mass destruction. He basically started a war on assumption.

There is no denying Bush is the worst president.
