I'm willing to bet most people will prefer MSN. I know exactly zero people who use Yahoo (without referring to Wikipedia). It would probably be better to include AIM or Jabber or something in the poll as well.

im with MSN all the way. just gets better and better, plus the fact that i only know one person with yahoo, but he still uses msn messenger for it

Of the two, I prefer Yahoo myself. I do use both, however, as well as AIM and ICQ. For news and custom pages I use Google and Yahoo.

But for messenger service, I prefer Trillian above them all since it includes everyone in one package.

Here in Argentina, almost 99% of the people that use chatting programs, use MSN and not other client.

I use them all except MSN. I use Trillian messenger to run them all also. Instead of having to fire up each program one at a time i do it with one program. So i would have to say yahoo.
