Well i need some help, i'm thinking in making my own cms perhaps like joomla! but i've thinking that joomla! doesn't use any template engine, but i remember reading in some forum that this make the page slower but i haven't realy consider time when i program.
So do you think that i should use a template enigne, in case that you answer yes, please name a template enigne that you use/recomendme to try, and if you can a link to a page so i can download it w/e

Smarty Template system, never used it but a lot of free programs use it.

Well i all ready look in smarty but it's a little to complex for what i need, basicly i need a "filling holes" system with a itiration system...

Besides i been reading some where that you need to know smarty alot to make it work right and that works faster

Nah, smarty is simple. I've used it with three projects at work now and it's working great. I'd generally recommend it, but I'm not sure if I'd suggest it for what you're doing. It's still better than just plain php though.
