I have just downloaded Ps's setup.exe program and since I have installed it I can't find the program. All I see on Adobe CS3 folder is Dreamweaver and Photoshop but no photoshop program. Help please?

There should be an Adobe folder in your C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3

Do a search on your hard drive for Photoshop if you cant find the executable (Photoshop.exe) You may have only downloaded the Dreamweaver for the CS3 suite, though.

I have checked by hard drive but its not there only in my Adobe CS3 folder located in my desktop section which deson't have any programs related to Photoshop except for the folder itself. Also I doubt I have installed the suite version. I only installed the extended version.

When in doubt reinstall Not worth the time finding it.

If you're in the need of basic photo editing, I suggest Paint.NET as the best free alternative

The installer from adobe doesn't install. It extracts the setup files into a folder. There should be a program in this folder (Adobe CS3\ProductName\Adobe CS3\) called setup.exe; this will install photoshop.
