Re: how can I remove AVG?

Maybe you can get it out of your registry with RegCleaner or Tune Up.

Reg Cleaner: http://www.worldstart.com/weekly-dow...cleaner4.3.htm

Tune Up 2008: http://www.tune-up.com/download/tu2008/ (30 days trial)

I think you should try Tune Up first, it checks all problems in your registry. ( it also speeds up your pc. )
List of functions: http://www.tune-up.com/products/tune...sx=0&sy=171#st

Re: how can I remove AVG?

Well obviously first remove AVG through Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel (or "Programs and Features" if you use Vista). Once it's removed, you can use CCleaner's registry cleaning function to remove any remaining registry keys
