Re: Installing MediaWiki

I am almost sure that you can make a clean install of MediaWiki on your corporate account, as x10 offers quite a lot of the things required to run it and also as long as you follow x10's TOS agreement.

It seems to be working for me. You might want to create the database table and user before using the installer thing.

Could you be a bit more detailed? How do you do that?

Re: Installing MediaWiki

I'd like to do the same thing, but I'm a newb to all this web hosting stuff. The fantastico is working out very well, but mediawiki isn't offered in it. :( Perhaps this could be remedied? Seeing as media wiki is open source and all. I tried tikiwiki and did not like the syntax. The phpwiki looks horrible and I have a media wiki backup xml I'd like to import. Oh admins please save the day and add mediawiki to the fantastico.
