Re: Does Anyone Know Visual Basic?

I don't know Visual Basic or its spinoff, Visual Basic.NET.

Visual Basic 6.0 is not really worth learning anymore. If you want to build a .NET application, you're better off with C#.

I do. Is that a good or bad thing? I'm alone!

Is C# like C/C++?

Yes, but it's not as good because it only runs on Windows. I guess if you are a jerk and have no intention of porting your programs then it's okay for you to use it.

It wasn't directed at nol888. I was using "you" to refer to people in general. Please don't tell me what to do.

I found this funny in your post:

Look I was giving you a verbal warning not to directly do anything that seems wrong on these forums; i didnt give you an actual warning this time but next time one might be in order.

If you read the rules of the forum when you signed up you would have read this

I thought you were insulting nol888 threw what I read through your post; so I was acting accordingly.

Also there was this

» Do not post comments designed to provoke other members into flaming.
I was trying to prevent any actions taken by nol888; if he/she read the post AS me, it sounds like a direct corilaction to him/her!
